2. Order Processing & Delivery

We process all deliveries through reputed international courier partners.
If courier service is unavailable at your address:

  • Non-electronics will be shipped via Government Registered Speed Post

  • For electronics, our team will assist with an alternate delivery location serviced by our partners

4. Delivery Charges

  • International Orders:
    Shipping charges range from USD 30 to USD 100 depending on product type, weight, and destination.

5. Duplicate Transaction Policy

In case of duplicate payment for the same order, the extra amount will be refunded.
Refund processing time: 7–10 business days, subject to the customer’s bank.

6. Warranty & Replacement

Electronics Warranty

All electronics come with a minimum 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Replacement Policy

Replacement is provided only in cases of transit damage, after verification.

7. Taxes, Duties & Hidden Charges

There are no hidden charges on our website.
All listed prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.

For international orders, duties and import taxes may be levied by the destination country and must be paid directly by the recipient. These charges are not included in our prices.

International shipping and duty tax structures vary from country to country.

9. International Duty Tax & Return Policy

Duty on Delivery

Local customs authorities may charge import duties or additional fees, which must be paid by the customer to complete delivery.

If Customer Refuses to Pay Duty

If the customer declines to pay customs duty, the shipment will be returned to India.
In such cases:

Return Policy for Duty-Related Refusals

If you choose to return the product due to unwillingness to pay the applicable duty taxes, we will deduct Duty Tax + Return Shipping Charges from your refund. In case the total amount exceeds the amount paid by the customer, no refund will be issued.

Any remaining amount (after deductions) will be refunded only after the returned item is physically received and inspected at our facility.

  • International shipments are subject to customs regulations and inspections, which are beyond the control of The Art of Living Store.

  • Delivery delays due to customs, local regulatory checks, weather events, strikes, or operational issues do not qualify for cancellation, compensation, or refund.

  • Duty charges, customs taxes, and return shipping fees mandated by foreign authorities are solely the responsibility of the customer.

  • The Art of Living Store shall not be held liable for losses resulting from:

    • Refusal to pay duty

    • Failure of the customer to accept delivery

    • Incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer

11. Chargeback / Non-Refund Abuse Protection Clause

To protect against misuse of international shipping regulations and chargeback fraud:

By placing an order, the customer agrees to the following:

  • Chargebacks filed after refusing to pay customs duty, rejecting delivery, or failing to accept the shipment are invalid and will be disputed with full documentation, including:

    • Shipping records

    • Customs notes

    • Tracking proof

    • Email communication

    • This published policy

  • If the customer refuses to pay duty and the shipment is returned, all return-related charges (Duty Tax + Return Shipping Fees) will be deducted first.
    If these charges exceed the order value, no refund will be issued, and the customer is not eligible for any recovery or claim.

  • Filing a chargeback after receiving this policy, or attempting reversal after refusing delivery, constitutes fraudulent misuse of payment mechanisms, and the company reserves the right to:

    • Oppose the chargeback with evidence

    • Permanently deny future service

    • Pursue legal recovery if required

  • The buyer acknowledges that international duty and import fees are the buyer’s own responsibility, and refusal to comply does not constitute grounds for chargeback or refund.
